FILM 1982: 17 AGAIN

FILM 1982: 17 AGAIN

TRIVIA: Zac Efron called Matthew Perry for help on his lines and mimicking some of his movements to give a more authentic performance.

In one scene, Mike wakes up and begins describing his "dream" of being in high school again only to find his daughter, Maggie, caring for him. This is an homage to the counterpart scene in Back to the Future (1985), in which Marty McFly wakes up and finds his teen-aged mother caring for him.

Thomas Lennon and Matthew Perry also appeared in an episode of Friends (1994) - "The One in Vegas: Part One." Lennon played a blackjack dealer and Joey's "hand twin." Although they both appeared in the episode, Lennon and Perry did not share a scene.

Although they play mother and daughter in this film, Leslie Mann is only thirteen years older than Michelle Trachtenberg.

FILM 1499: TRAINWRECK

TRIVIA: Chris Rock was on the set when LeBron James's scenes were filmed and he came up with several of the lines that James says in the film.

Norman Lloyd, who plays a supporting role in this movie, was 100 years old during filming. Lloyd (who was born in November 1914) had his first role in a Broadway show in 1927 and his first movie role in 1939; his career has included roles for Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, Charles Chaplin, and Martin Scorsese. After being blacklisted during the Red Scare of the 1950s, Alfred Hitchcock again employed him--this time as a producer, on the TV series Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955), and then he enjoyed an acting resurgence during the 1980s after being cast as Dr. Daniel Auschlander on St. Elsewhere (1982). Lloyd claimed that most of his lines were improvised, and that it was the first time in his career that he improvised during a performance.

Amy Schumer's original screenplay called for a "Tilda Swinton Type" to play her boss at the men's magazine. Judd Apatow called up Tilda Swinton and offered her the part. Apparently, Swinton is fan of Apatow and was looking to join his comedy universe.

The first film by Judd Apatow not to be written by him, only directed.

Includes six actors that have worked on SNL: Bill Hader, Vanessa Bayer, Pete Davidson, Leslie Jones, Tim Meadows and Colin Quinn.

Jack Whitehall read for the role that eventually went to John Cena.
