TRIVIA: This is the first sequel Jennifer Aniston has ever
done in her entire career.
Sudeikis stated in an interview
that they wanted to put a gag in the film, where Jamie Fox's Character says to
the Nick, Curt, and Dale , "You crackers got to go. I have three other
crackers coming in", and as the trio get up to leave, the three characters
from The Hangover movies come and sit at the booth. They later decided against
it, because it would take the audience out of the movie. Zack Galifianakis and
Ed Helms (Alan and Stu from the Hangover Films) later heard about this and
thought the idea was hilarious.
This is the second film to co-star Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz. They
previously appeared together in 'Django Unchained (2012)'.
The cast has a total of five
Academy awards thanks to one from Jamie Foxx (Ray), two from Kevin Spacey (The
Usual Suspects, American Beauty), and two from Christoph Waltz (Inglourious
Basterds, Django Unchained).
Tommy Lee Jones and Jack Nicholson
were considered for the role that went to Christoph Waltz.
